The Pop Star Portrays a Hell Version of Her Own Identity in Mockumentary Teaser
Charli XCX is preparing for a substantial big screen appearance in 2026, kicking off with the mockumentary titled The Moment.
Within the project, she portrays what she calls as a twisted version of her public image.
It’s the realest depiction of the music industry that I’ve ever witnessed, the star stated.
She further explained in a discussion: It’s far from a live performance documentary, yet the concept stemmed from the expectation to create one.
A Glimpse into The Moment
The initial preview, released on Thursday, combines actual recordings from her live performances with imagined behind-the-scenes moments.
The mockumentary is helmed and co-scripted by the director, who shared that the story focuses on a scenario where Charli made entirely different choices during the promotion of her hugely successful record Brat.
