The Brazilian star Offers Sincere Sorry to Real Madrid Supporters

The forward has netted 5 finishes in ten Spanish league appearances during the current campaign.

The Madrid giants forward Vinicius Jr has said sorry to the fanbase for his conduct when taken off in Sunday's fiery El Clasico victory.

He was substituted in the 72nd minute and displayed his annoyance by heading directly down the tunnel.

The Brazilian subsequently came back to the bench and, following his club's 2-1 victory, attempted to approach Barça's Lamine Yamal during unsavoury final whistle incidents.

"Now I want to say sorry to all the Real Madrid fans for my behavior when I was taken off in the big match," Vinicius shared on X.

"Similarly to I have said in person during the latest session, I would like to express regret anew to my colleagues, the club, and the club president.

"Sometimes emotion takes over me because I constantly desire to win and support my side. My determined nature comes from the passion I hold for this club and everything it stands for."

Vinicius joined Real from Brazil in recent years for millions and has scored triple figures in numerous matches.

But his future in the La Liga is far from certain with rumors in recent months indicating that Real would think about allowing the player move on if they obtained a suitable offer.

When Vinicius was replaced on the match day, broadcast footage from coverage provider the platform picked him up saying: "It's always me! I'm departing the side! It's preferable if I go, I'm moving on."

In his latest statement on X, the athlete stated: "I vow to keep fighting constantly for the benefit of Real Madrid, as I have acted since the very beginning."
